Red copper wire mesh, also known as pure copper mesh and copper shielding mesh, is woven from **T1/T2 high-purity copper wire (copper content ≥99.8%~99.99%)**. It presents a natural purplish-red color and serves as a widely used functional metal mesh material in industry.
I. Material & Core Properties
1. Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity: Copper boasts extremely low resistivity, featuring the best conductivity and thermal conductivity among ordinary metal wire meshes, making it the top choice for electromagnetic shielding and heat dissipation;
2. Non-magnetic: Free of ferromagnetic components and non-magnetizable, suitable for precision instruments and radio frequency shielding applications;
3. Corrosion and oxidation resistance: Resistant to weak acid and atmospheric corrosion. Copper ions come with natural bacteriostatic effect, so the mesh hardly rusts or develops pinholes;
4. Good ductility and easy processing: Soft texture, available for cutting, bending and stamping forming. It is wear-resistant, sound-insulating and capable of filtering electron beams.
II. Weaving Processes
Two mainstream weaving types:
· Plain weave: Warp and weft wires interlace one over one under, with regular apertures, compact structure and high strength, the most commonly used style (10~200 mesh for general use);
· Twill weave: Staggered interlacing of warp and weft wires, flexible and dense mesh body, mostly applied for ultra-fine filter screens above 200 mesh.
III. Common Specifications
· Mesh count: 2 mesh ~ 400 mesh (higher mesh count equals smaller apertures; coarse mesh for sieving, fine mesh for filtration / shielding);
· Wire diameter: 0.03mm~1.2mm. Fine wires are mainly for precision shielding, thick wires for filtration and protection;
· Standard dimensions: Width 0.5~1.5m, standard roll length 30m. Custom cutting and edge wrapping are available upon request.
